Performing Arts in Norwich
The Sillars Orchestra consists of around 30 amateur musicians of
mixed age and gender. The Orchestra's speciality is playing light music from
the concert hall, stage and screen, performing about four to six concerts
each year throughout Norwich and Norfolk.
The Sillars have a weekly rehearsal schedule during school terms and have an
open door policy for competent players wishing to join, either as full
members or as 'guest' players who are prepared to fill unexpected gaps at
concert time.
