A working family farm,where the farmer,Philip produces the meat i.e Beef,Lamb & Pork on the farm on the side of The Black Mountains, close to
Hay-on-Wye, Hereford & Abergavenny. He is also the barperson and the waiter.
The farmers wife, Pauline is the cook and even the daughters get a look in
with the waitressing.All dishes are freshly prepared and cooked to order with as many as possible local ingredients used.Even the potatoes are grown
by Philips family and these make great homemade hand cut chips.
The bar also offers local beer,ciders,liquers,wines and fruit juices. This is not an intensive farm and all animals eat the lush green grass from the fields and drink the natural mountain water running down through the fields to meet the river Monnow. A great rural place.
