Part of the Ha! Ha! chain's we-don't-take-ourselves-too-seriously charm is its fun decor, in this case, decorative patterned columns and an illuminated bar top above which hangs funky retro lighting. All eyes turn, however, to the 'fire table' – a beautiful table with a white bowl emitting large flames at its centre. We all love a bit of drama, don't we? Rich reds and violet are complemented by stones and creams, while stainless steel nods to the Electric Press's industrial history. Mid week the mezzanine lounge bar is occupied by young professionals out for lunch, while at weekends it becomes a hot spot for students and anyone else up for a good time. In contrast, the chic dining area retains a subdued atmosphere as people enjoy wine and good conversation over a sirloin steak or duck in orange sauce. Friendly staff always have a smile ready.
