You are guaranteed a warm welcome at our family run free house. At the
Golden Lion you‚ll find a wide selection of sixteen top quality beers and
lagers, not to mention a variety of wines so there's something to suit
every palette.
We have a strong and diverse adult local trade, with ages ranging from
18-96! Some of our most popular events are the annual beer festival, the
summer pig roast and regular screenings of football/rugby matches. Saturday
night is always a hit too, with live music from various performers.
We are one of the few pubs left that haven't entered the food market and
have a great reputation as to the quality of our cellar. We pride ourselves
on being a friendly, traditional establishment where you can be sure of
getting a good pint.
