An idyllic rural retreat for all the family nestling in the rolling hills and valleys of the South Hams, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The rural hamlet of Belsford is close to the pretty village of Harberton with its 13th cent Church House Inn serving great beers and food, and its historic church and buldings.

We are centrally located for access to the historic towns of Totnes (10 mins by car): voted one of the world's top 10 funkiest towns by British Airways and the capital of new age chic in Time magazine, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Modbury. Explore the the surrounding hillswonderful coastline at Blackpool Sands, Bantham and Bigbury. Walk the Yealm, Erme, Avon, Salcombe/Kingsbridge and the Dart estuaries and the wild open spaces of Dartmoor National Park. Enjoy the sea side fun of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. Close by are Plymouth and Exeter. There are numerous other picturesque villages, pubs, restaurants attractions and places to visit within the surrounding area.

All the cottages are fully furnished and equipped with fridge, microwave, electric shower over bath, TV with digi box, video /DVD player on request and radio /CD player. Heating is night storage with individual electric wall heaters and where stated wood burners or electric wood effect burners (from Oct 05). The accommodation is arranged upside down with the living areas on the first floor to take advantage of the magnificent views over the valley and at sunset. There are fixed stair gates in all cottages.
