Situated in the centre of Britain's widest high street, the Castle and Ball occupies a site where an inn has stood since the 15th century. Some of the hotel's surviving original oak timbers predate the Spanish Armada.
The hotel features an all day brasserie which offers an extensive menu of delicious, freshly prepared meals and an excellent wine list. The picturesque walled garden and terrace seating provide a delightful setting for alfresco dining. An ideal place to relax after perusing the many attractive shops at the hotel's doorstep.
