Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Dedham Hall in it’s six acres of gardens and fields set in the beautiful Vale of Dedham. Together with it’s restaurant The Fountain House it is situated just a two minute walk from the historic Dedham Village and a twenty minute amble down the River Stour to Flatford Mill immortalised by John Constable. At Dedham Hall we run painting holidays from February until November with a growing number of tutors who paint in all mediums from Watercolour, Oil, Acrylic, mixed media to Chinese Brush Painting. The Fountain House Restaurant is well known in the area for its great cooking and atmosphere. Here we have a weekly changing table d’hote menu where the very best ingredients are simply but expertly prepared. In the winter those staying at Dedham Hall can enjoy log fires and cosy lounges and in the summer enjoy the grounds and all the lovely walks from the house into the local countryside.
