Clanville Manor, built in 1743 of the local, honey coloured 'Cary' stone was bought by the Snook family in 1898; Robert continues the family farming tradition here and Sally offers a traditional, quality farmhouse B&B experience in the Georgian farmhouse.

We have retained the 18th century elegance of the house, with a flagstone hall, English Oak staircase, old elm floorboards in the dining room, oriental rugs and antique furniture. However, all 21st century luxuries, modern beds, heating and plumbing are here for your comfort. All rooms are en-suite: a large double with a six-foot wide opulent four-poster bed, a large room with twin beds that can be 'linked' to form a superking bed, with bath and shower room, a 'king' room with five-foot sleigh bed plus ensuite shower. All rooms have Freeview flat screen TVs, hairdryers, clock, radio, tea and coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available. We can accommodate a maximum of six people at any one time in the house. You are welcome to use the drawing room, which has a big log fire for reading, relaxing, working or TV/DVD viewing.

The dining room has two tables where an inclusive full traditional English breakfast or vegetarian alternative is served, with local produce including free range eggs from the farm hens! Smoked salmon, with creamy scrambled eggs, Eggs Benedict, a selection of fruit compote, yoghurt and Pertwood Organic Muesli are also available. The dining room overlooks the farm drive and you can watch the ducks waddling to and from the pond as you eat your breakfast in the morning!
