Stonecross Manor Hotel, dating back to the 19th century has been extensively modernised and converted into the fine AA 3 star hotel that it is today and is situated on the fringe of the medieval market town of Kendal. The hotel is the ideal base for exploring the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales or an excellent overnight stop off point when travelling to or from Scotland.

All 30 bedrooms have en-suite bath and shower, tea and coffee making facilities and are equally popular with corporate and leisure clients. Some of the bedrooms boast traditional four poster beds and our suite has the added luxury of and en-suite spa bath.

Catherine’s Restaurant, named after Catherine Parr, the sixth wife of Henry VIII, opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner to residents and non residents alike offering the very best of Cumbrian cuisine, using locally sourced fresh ingredients. The newly refurbished pool with massage jets, steam room and poolside spa offers welcome rejuvenation after a day of hill walking or sight seeing. The hotel also has wedding and conference facilities, free WIFI throughout and ample free parking.
