17th Century former farmhouse with lofty Victorian extension in two acres. Within Scotland Lodge there is a feeling of peace and tranquility and guests often comment on a good night's sleep. Ample parking. Delicious breakfasts, home grown or locally prepared food, often organic. Warm welcome and personal attention. All rooms ensuite, some extra large with lounging space. Our own mineral water, exquisite non-toxic toiletries in bathrooms. French and some German spoken. Also a self-catering unit.

Easy access from main A303 four miles west of Stonehenge. Visits to inner circle can be arranged with prior warning. Excellent touring centre. Within an hour, sand and sea, houses and gardens - Wilton, Longleat, Stourhead etc. Cathedrals - Salisbury, Winchester, Wells. Hardy and King Arthur's country. Historic city Bath.
