More Information

Braemount House in Windermere was built in 1879 and care has been taken to retain much of its original charm and character, adding only to its comfort. You can always be sure of a warm welcome, our main aim is to help you have an enjoyable and relaxed holiday in peaceful surroundings.

Start the day with a traditional breakfast or our scrumptious scrambled egg and smoked salmon speciality, alternatively a continental breakfast may be taken in your bedroom and for those wanting something lighter or for vegetarians we have plenty of alternatives to offer.

Then Perhaps take a stroll into either of the two resort villages,Windermere or Bowness, as the guesthouse is located close to their amenities yet being in a quiet backwater. Or you may decide to travel further afield as Braemount Guest House serves as an excellent base for touring around the Lake District.
