A warm welcome awaits you at Colvennor Farmhouse. We live in a quiet location in an acre of garden on the outskirts of the village of Cury, near Mullion. Part of this attractive, granite-fronted, Grade II-listed farmhouse dates back to the 17th Century, whilst the main house was built circa 1820. The entire garden is available for guests to enjoy. The air is fresh and we are surrounded by panoramic views. We aim to provide friendly service and warm hospitality, with a personal touch. The three en-suite bedrooms, two double on the first floor and one twin on the ground floor, are well furnished and include TV/DVD, hairdryer and a well stocked hospitality tray. An attractive bathroom featuring a beautifully restored cast iron bath is available also to guests. Delicious breakfasts, using local produce, are served in our dining room overlooking our front garden. We will help with any individual requirements. Guests, too, have their own sitting room to relax in. The Coastal Path, crossing the beaches at Church Cove and Poldhu Cove, is a mile and half away and the rest of the delightful Lizard Peninsula is in easy reach. Walkers and cyclists are welcome. We have facilities to store muddy boots or to dry walking clothes, should this be necessary. The Lizard has a huge variety of high quality pubs, restaurants, cafes and tearooms to exploit once you have enjoyed visiting our lovely coastline and garden attractions. Directions. From Helston take the A3083 to Lizard Village. Go straight across the roundabout at the end of the Royal Naval Air Station, Culdrose. After 300 yards, turn right signed Cury and Poldhu Cove. Follow this road for one and a half miles, crossing the (mostly dry) ford in the hamlet of Nantithet, and go up the hill. Colvennor Farmhouse is at the top of the hill on the right, just before the village of Cury. Look out for the B&B sign.
