The candlelit dining room has superb lake views and serves modern French and English cuisine. The bedrooms are all individual and come with special features. Most rooms have been newly refurbished.

The 18th-century building has spectacular views of the lake and fells. It stands in 18 acres of parkland and gardens with lake frontage. It is listed as one of the most beautifully situated hotels in Great Britain. Rampsbeck Country House Hotel was named an 'AA Inspectors’ Choice Hotel in Britain & Ireland 2008-2009', a supreme accolade for outstanding hotels.
