Cross o'th' Hill Farm dates back to the fifteenth century but the spacious farmhouse above was built in 1860 and has lovely architectural details.

It is set among pasture lands and is approached by an avenue of chestnut trees. The gardens were also laid out at this time with orchards, vegetable and fruit gardens and incorporating a sunken croquet lawn. A young oak tree avenue adjoins the garedns and is recommended for an early morning short walk.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are very large with period furniture, comfort and spaciousness being our main aim. Guests are welcome to play on the baby grand piano, in the drawing room. Huge sash windows open up as doors off the dining and drawing room, weather permitting.

Holy Trinity Church in Stratford where Shakespeare is buried, is only a twelve minute walk, across one field.

There is ample parking and rates include a low fat full English breakfast. Using local or organic produce, fair trade and we recycle as much as possible.
