Historic Port and Copper Mine - once the greatest copper port of Queen Victoria's Empire.

The village and quaysides have been restored as an open air museum and visitor attraction of interest to families and Industrial Archaeology enthusiasts.

Visitors can ride into the mine by electric train, go aboard the Tamar ketch 'Garlandstone', meet the shire horses, step into the homes of miners and harbour workers, explore the nature trails and wildlife reserve or relax in an unspoiled 19th Century Inn.

Demonstrations and talks are given by knowledgeable staff wearing authentic Victorian costume.
