The Black Dog Inn is situated in the hamlet of Black Dog, famous for the ghost of a Black dog. A rural location awaits with beautiful views of Dartmoor and smack bang in the middle of the two moorsway. Approx 8 miles from the town of Tiverton, with its market, museum, canal with horse drawn barge trips. There is so much to do & see in this part of Devon, but we are not too far from Dartmoor or Exmoor, the North or South Devon coast and many attractions. There are many walks that will give you a real taste of the area, seeing rural life at its best! Exeter is only 11 miles away where the cathederal is well worth a visit, also they do a night visit to the underground walk ways under the streets of Exeter.
