I stayed with my boyfriend for two nights in a double room. We arrived on an early morning flight from Dublin and were tired and wanted an early check in...we were greeted by lovely warm staff who let us to have an early check in, a cup of english tea and some lovely scones....the purpose of our visit was to attend my friends wedding the following day but that night we wanted a nice relaxed few drinks...We spoke with the lovely night Manager (james I think (a friendly warm geordie)) he advised us on the best bar to go to and the ones to avoid) he was so helpful and arranged a taxi for us the next day to the wedding. The next morning the breakfast was beautiful and we had a lovely sleep in our cosy (homely room)...I would definetly reccommend this geordie hotel...the metro is 5 min walk if u want to go to the toon (town)of newcastle but jesmond is a great area...thanks to all the staff especially james for making our stay very welcoming...i would definetly reccommend this hotel...x jDate visited: june 2009
