Fantastic place very atmospheric. The self catering apartments are beautiful,furnished in a mis-matched way that addds to charm of this haunted castle.
Ghost tours through the grounds and candlelit great hall and chapel are a MUST ifyou are staying in the castle or just visiting the area, They are well worth the cost, in our group 8 of us smelled the perfume of Lady Mary Berkeley who died in the castle of a broken heart 800 years ago.
All in all fantastic place,fantastic experience.
