First, when we arrived our room was not made up so we just left our bags there. When we returned 4 hours later, our bags had gone and the room was still not made up. On enquiry, found we'd been 'upgraded' to another room and our bags moved there. However, if this was an upgrade, I hate to think what the original room would have been like! The second room had a TV (not a flat screen as advertised) high up on the wall with no remote control. The shower did not work at all. The curtain rail was almost off the wall and was leaning to one side. Thankfully it didn't fall off in the night. (We told the receptionist about these faults on the first day, but nothing was done about them.)
On the up side, the breakfasts were very nicely presented and tasty, although very slow in being served. Won't visit again though.Date visited: July 2009
