I had the pleasure of a short stay at Haughley House last week. What a find!! I expect any hotel to paint a rosy picture of itself but, in this case, the reality was even better. - A welcoming pot of tea on arrival, taken in a charming sitting room. - Being spoilt for choice between the exquisite bedrooms. - Sumptious meals, with produce largely from the owners' own gardens. - Really excellent personal service and at a bargain price compared to my regular stays in anonymous chain hotels!! Get in before everyone else finds out.
