I think this pub has a great future.A great bunch of people come there to have fun and enjoy the music. Many local artists and musicians use the Royal Oak as a meeting place. Many cultural events are happening there so it's a pub worth visiting. Over all the people are friendly and will make you welcome...

I have just visited this pub this eveniong, and i have had one of the most fun night i have had in a long time, i was just looking for a good drink and walked into a pub with no trouble and a duo act playing, it was so much fun, It is under new ownership and it looks like they work very hard, the landlord came round to me and just started chatting away and made me fell welcome this is one i shall be coming back to.
