The Nags Head was refurbished earlier this year and has new management. The standard of service and food is great and mine hosts are very welcoming.
Inside, the pub has been totally transformed and offers a good choice of both beer and food at sensible prices.
Anyone who has a poor recollection of the pub should re-visit as they will find it has completely changed and is a delightful eating and drinking place.
Good luck and keep up the good work.

I visited on Sunday 3rd July 2011 after the Refurbishment and was really impressed. There was a really friendly atmosphere, prfessional staff and a warm welcome from all. I enjoyed it that much I returned for a meal on Tuesday which again was excellent.
I am really chuffed that after 20 odd years the pub has finally got an image to be proud of and can now offer up a venue for the locals to meet getting quality at a reasonable price.

After visiting this "resteraunt" I can honsetly say it was the most poor value, bad quality pub food that I have ever had the displeasure to eat. I came with a party of three we all had starters and a main course. The starters were of microscopic proportions utterly over priced. The main courses were luke warm, one of the party opted for the beef goulash which I can only describe as luke warm boiled rice with gravy over the top, and to top it all off ive paid less for three course meals with drinks in some of the north wests nicest resteraunts.
At no point were we asked if we were enjoying our meal. We complained afterwards to a member of staff behind the bar, no comprimise was met, we were just told only the manager could deal with us and they werent in. So off we went pockets lighter, as hungry if not hungrier than when we arrived to the local chinese.
A complete and utter dissapointment
