When another local pub gets shut down for a year long refurb you always return with trepidation.In this case however I need not have worried. Yes a little bit of the character has gone but otherwise it is a massive improvement on what it was.It has been restored thoughtfully and respectfully.The food,service and atmosphere were all first rate.Highly Recommended
