Good Points: lovely hosts central location quiet Bad Points: hotel and rooms generally in need of freshening up/ refurbishment but the rooms were clean no dinner available General review: good but overpriced for what it had to offer

I love this place, spent many a great night propping up the bar with the entertaining locals. If it's good hearty food you're after then this is the place to be. It's difficult to go past Pat the Landlady's traditional home-cooking. One of the hidden gems amongst Hastings and St. Leonards hotels. Go there once and I guarantee you'll go again. Pat and Tony - Warmest greetings from Australia. Hope to see you again next summer.
