Good Points: Lovely location, clean rooms, well equipped. Bad Points: Bar area very small, quite cold with poor choice of tap beer/ lager. Restaurant excellent but expensive- as there is nowhere else really nearby there wasn't much option but to eat at hotel (no bar snacks etc. on offer as cheaper option). Bar closed very early, before 1030pm. General review: Lovely hotel, but probably wouldn't stay again as bar so poor.

Very disappointed at the lack of variety on the menu (there was only a choice of about 8 main courses and all veg was extra none came with the meal) and it wasn't cheap, but to be fair what we did have was nicely cooked and beautifully presented by courteous staff It had been a couple of years since we were last at the Tormaukin and it has obviously been taken over by new owners. I don't think that we would be in a rush to go back

The hotel has a cosy atmosphere and friendly, efficient staff. The restaurant offered a varied menu, excellently prepared and presented - and very reasonably priced!
