Began working with flowers during 1920s. Became chairman of the Constance Spry Flower School. Adviser on flower decoration for coronation of Elizabeth II. Joint Principal of Cordon Bleu Cookery School, London. Wrote The Constance Spry Cookbook (1956) and many books on flower arranging.
