Born 1924 - 2005 Scottish sculptor and printmaker.

Studied at Edinburgh College of Art and Slade School, London. Held his first one-man show in 1947 at Mayor Gallery, London. Pioneer of Pop Art. During 1960s his sculptures were made of vibrantly painted metal. Received many public commissions. Visiting Fellow at the Royal College of Art since 1989.
