Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, as she was until her marriage to Prince William, was born into an entrepreneurial family, their business being online sales of party supplies. She attended Marlborough College and went on to study The History of Art at St Andrews, receiving a 2:I degree in 2005. It was at university that her relationship with Prince William began. They were married at Westminster Abbey on April 29th 2011, at which point she became HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn, and Lady Carrickfergus.
