Amy Winehouse
- Favourite Briton.

Born in Southgate, London
Born on 14th of September 1983
Died in Camden, London
Died on 23rd of July 2011

Amy Winehouse has been described as the greatest vocal stylist of her generation for her deep, emotional renditions of her own songs and of standards across jazz, pop, reggae and soul. She was also a huge song-writing talent, with Rehab, Back to Black and You Know Iím No Good among others destined to be standards in turn, and had star quality and an instantly recognisable image. Sadly, part of that image was her earlier drug-abuse, and the crazy alcohol consumption that caused her untimely death. A genius, but lacking a survival instinct.
