Born 1934 - English actress and author.
Studied at the Italia Conti Academy stage school and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. Made her first film appearance in Personal Affairs (1953). Subsequent films included The Wrong Box (1966), The Raging Moon (1970), The Madwoman of Chaillot (1969) and International Velvet (1978). Has written children’s books and six cookery books. Won the Cookbook of the Year Award with The Summer Cookbook.
