Donald Soper
- Favourite Briton.

Born in Wandsworth, London
Born on 31st of January 1903
Died on 22nd of December 1998

Soper was an exceptional character, a gifted sportsman in his youth, a scholar, and a devout Methodist who vigorously espoused many radical causes. He gained fame for his frequent open air preaching, at Speakersí Corner and Tower Hill. He was a teetotaller, a passionate supporter of the anti-nuclear movement, and a friend to the dispossessed. Ennobled by the Labour Government in 1965 he enraged Tories by pointing out the anti-Christian nature of various Thatcherite policies.
