Born 1928 - Footballer and television sports presenter.

Began playing football for Brentford in 1949 before transferring to Fulham where he played over 300 games. Became Chairman of the Professional Footballers Association in 1957 before moving into broadcasting. Presented BBC’s Match of the Day before moving to Sky and presenting Jimmy Hill’s Sunday Supplement. Has been Chairman of Coventry City, Charlton Athletic and Fulham.
