Born 1525. Died 1577 - Poet and dramatist.
Most of his works were published in his later life after his return from the wars against the Dutch. His works included The Complaynt of Phylomene, Jocasta (1566), The Glasse of Government (1575) and Certayne Notes of Instruction on Making Verse (1957).
