Born 1936. Died 1958 – Munich, Germany – English footballer.

Signed for Manchester United in 1952 as an amateur turning professional in 1953. Was of Busby’s babes, the young team formed by Matt Busby in the 1950s. Played eighteen matches for England scoring five goals. One of the eight players who died in the Munich air disaster.
