Began her recording career in the late 1950s. Achieved success with songs including As I Love You (1958) and Hey Big Spender (1967) and the two theme tunes to James Bond films Goldfinger (1964) and Diamonds Are Forever (1971). Has won over 20 gold discs, was created DBE in 2000.
