Studied at Brighton Polytechnic and Chelsea School of Art. Work covered sculpture, photography, mixed media installation and performance art. Shortlisted for 1987 Turner Prize. Had solo show at Museum of Modern Art in New York. Died unexpectedly of heart failure.
