Born 1961 - Scottish actor.
Studied at Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Won BAFTA award for Best Actor in film The Full Monty (1996). Other films include Trainspotting, Angela’s Ashes and The Beach. Television appearances include police drama Hamish Macbeth.
