Born 1930 - English painter.


She trained at Camberwell School of Art and first exhibited in 1952. Her free, abstract style with emphasis on colour was influenced by Jackson Pollock. Works include Anthony and Cleopatra (1982) held at the Tate Gallery, Green Grow the Rushes, O! (1990) and May Day Games (1990). She was awarded the OBE in 1986 and was made an RA in 1991.
