Hartlepool & District Angling Club founded in 1949 has plenty of water for the game and course angler with the Tilery Lake and Loch Kennys Pond at wingate and a stretch of the River Tees at Newbus Grange and Chester Moor on the river Wear. Also a Member of the Lower Tees Angling Association that has 3 to 4 miles of the lower tees. Also Hart Upper & Lower Reservoirs and Hurworth Reservoir near trimdon.
