The award winning Lakeland Climbing Centre is one of the country’s largest indoor aerial adventure centres, offering fun climbing and aerial activities for all the family from 5 years old to adults.
The premier Climbing Centre incorporates Kendal Wall, Kendal CrazyClimb and Skyline Indoor Aerial Adventure together with superb on site facilities including Creamery Cafe, Kendal Wall Shop, training room, conference facilities and free car parking.
The Lakeland Climbing Centre offers a warm and welcoming environment and is a great day out for all the family, whatever the weather! Our experienced team is dedicated to helping people experience the exhilaration that climbing and aerial activities have to offer and whatever your climbing goals, we have a wide range of sessions, courses and clubs to suit everyone.
Kendal Wall boasts the tallest indoor climbing wall in the country together with a superb range of bouldering walls, training room and The Toolbox, an area for aid climbing, dry tooling and traditional gear placing practice. The Centre offers climbing experiences for beginners to experts of all ages and abilities.
Kendal CrazyClimb, incorporating SkyJump, offers indoor climbing with a difference! It’s fun, it’s weird, it’s wacky, it’s totally CRAZY!
Tackle all of our 12 different climbing towers with each one having its very own special theme, some devious, some mind bending and some downright ridiculous!
Bring your family and friends and they too can compete against you to see who is the fastest, the strongest and the bravest at the various challenges.
SkyJump is a brand new addition to Kendal CrazyClimb and perfect for would-be adventurers. Step off the edge and plunge down a 20 metre shaft feeling the pure free-fall effect as the ground rushes to meet you!
Skyline is the UK’s newest indoor aerial adventure and Europe’s first indoor Via Ferrata. It is a challenging course with some fantastic obstacles to overcome. Just like traditional Via Ferrata courses, you will clip yourself onto a cable that takes you on an awesome adventure. The journey takes you through the ‘Squeeze Press’ tunnel, up the ‘Lofty Ladders’, swings across the walls on the ‘King Swing’ and for the ultimate thrill-seekers finale: ‘SkyJump Extreme’ – a rapid 20 metre descent with 6 metres of free fall (optional!). This is the ultimate all weather adventure challenge. Also available is The Launch, a mini Skyline journey for those who would like a taster of the Skyline.
Come along and enjoy your climbing journey with our team at the Lakeland Climbing Centre and experience the fun and adrenaline that climbing has to offer!
