Fantastic, unique period Pub/Hotel set in 700 year old buildings around a small coutyard. Real ale, good wine, very friendly welcome. Top quality fresh food and wide scoping menu - with good portions. Rooms well heated and cosy with comfy beds and plenty of quality linen, towels, and toiletries. A little rustic perhaps, and not perfect in every way, but well worth a visit - the minuses were more than offset by the good points. Close to Burford and Bourton on the Water - with loads of cafes, shops, galleries and antiques.
