Lunchtime on a Sunday, and wanting only a "snack" lunch. Entered pub via car park, down a dark passageway, past smelly toilets (we should have turned around then!) into dismal bar area with old, grubby-looking tables. No "snack" menu - as it was a Sunday! Offered ham sandwich and tuna sandwich at the astronomical price of £5.75 each! As it was getting late, decided to stay and sit outside, despite the traffic roaring past at times. Two doorstep sandwiches arrived: nearly fresh bread, and six chips each person. Poor, dark, place; poor food; no more visits !
