As a couple of Aussies touring England for the first time, we found this pub to be of excellent quality, set in one of the prettist locations we had yet to find. We were lucky enough to be there on barbeque night and the food left nothing to be desired. Our table was under a beautiful old willow beside a brook at the back of the hotel. After a long day of travel this was a green and pleasant oasis. The staff were friendly and efficient and made for an extremely pleasant dining experience.
