Had lamb roast and 2 had beef, a bit of delay before third meal came out, had to ask for mint sauce and mustard, mustard came when meal nearly finished, but a nice meal, would go there again, happy with experience.

Decided to go out for a meal for my birthday and had heard that The Rose and Crown in East Lyng had recently been taken over. I was more than pleasently suprised, the staff were delightful, the menu very varied and the overall service superb. As for the food... it was exquisite. I chose to have the stilton and garlic mushrooms to start, the taste was devine, then had the fillet steak for main, it was cooked to perfection with a generous helping of onion rings, salad (or veg) chips (or potatoes)I was more than satisfied! I would highly recommend this pub to anyone who likes great food and service, top marks!
