Came to the swan with some friends for dinner, pleasantly surprised at the changes there. The food has improved dramatically since my last visit almost a year ago, and although the restaurant looks a little tired, the female maitre d creates a lovely friendly atmosphere and has her french waiters well drilled. Nice to see home made bread, serrano ham on the bar and other incidentals like a little cup of gaspacho before the starters and an unusual pre dessert/palate cleanser called green tea "snow". very enjoyable experience from start to finish. would recommend
