Paxford, Gloucestershire
Review of Paxford by Eric Taplin on February 9th, 2006
I was born at Paxford on Christmas day 1938,and lived there untill called up for national service in 1958.My Grandfather was licencee at the now, well managed Churchill Arms in 1936. It was just an off-licence in those days, well supported by travellers who stayed the summer months working on the land fruit picking etc.
Paxford is well worth a visit and a meal at the Churchill Arms before travelling on a couple of miles to the delightful Chipping Campden.
