for Open Fish Show as your favourite British event.

There is no entry charge to the public, the fish may be viewed after judging at about 15.00 but other attractions will be open earlier.

Exhibits are expected from a wide area, in the past we have had competitive entries from as far as Port Talbort in Wales and Corby. You do not have to be a member of a club or Society to enter your fishes, the fish will be judged to FBAS standards. As usual there will be worthwhile prizes in addition to the usual place cards.

Southend Society has held Fish Shows almost every year since the War, even in 1938 they held a Show in the Kursaal on Southend sea front (the famous pleasure area which is now virtually closed).

More information on Southend, Leigh & District Aquarist Society can be had on websites
