More Information

Alcester is a small, attractive town at the heart of one of the most popular tourist areas, yet it escapes the noise and congestion of better known towns. Stratford-upon-Avon is only a short drive away, as are Ragley Hall, Coughton Court and other notable country houses. Further afield, Warwick Castle, the Cotswolds, the NEC and Birmingham and Coventry airports can be reached within little more than half an hour by road. Dorset House is in the centre of Alcester’s historic Conservation Area, facing the town hall and parish church. The house and cottage are fully equipped and furnished with antiques. There is private parking for up to eight cars. A good range of local shops, pubs , restaurants and many other amenities are in easy walking distance. To the rear, secluded courtyards and a long walled garden lead down to the River Arrow and open countryside beyond.

The house and cottage have automatic gas central heating; autowasher; tumble dryer; dishwasher; oven and grill (electric in house, gas in cottage); gas hob; microwave; fridge/freezer; colour TV DVD and Wireless Internet ; courtyard garden with outdoor furniture. All beds have summer/winter duvets. Linen and towels are provided free of charge. Pets by arrangement
