Self-Catering in Tavistock

The Old Forge was, until the 1940s, the local area's Smithy. The accommodation provides a double bedroom, wet room, kitchen and lounge/diner with bed settee. Suited best to couples (children are not allowed in the Royal Inn in the evening), the property also gives you access to the grounds above and behind the Forge that will take you all the way up to the orchard boasting 34 different local fruit trees. All guests are most welcome to use the courtyard to enjoy those sunny days! The Forge is equipped with flat screen TV with Sky and selection of DVDs, bed settee, dining table and benches, and a choice of games. A Kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Double bedroom with pocket-sprung mattress, wardrobe, dressing table, chair and two bedside tables with lights. Wet room with WC, walk-in shower, basin and mirror cupboard over. There are French doors leading to the courtyard. Please note that towels and bed linen are provided, together with a welcome pack of either a cream tea or a bottle of wine (please advise type required).
