The ports of Cairnryan and Stranraer are just over an hour’s drive from the Ramada Ayr.

Ramada Ayr has the Sebastian Coe Health Club, with swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and fitness suite. In 2009, the hotel will be the only hotel in Scotland to have a golf simulator where you can experience 50 courses from 5 continents. Ayr Race Course is just 1 mile (1.6 km) away. Regular races include the Scottish Grand National and the Gold Cup. There are 22 golf courses within a 20-mile (32 km) radius.
The Arts Bar has speciality coffees, lunches and light snacks. The Arts Restaurant offers modern and traditional dishes.
